Here is an easy, on-the-go breakfast smoothie recipe which will keep you full all morning.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 Frozen banana
  • 1 Kiwi Fruit
  • 1 Fig
  • A Handful of frozen blueberries
  • 2 Tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Maca powder *Try Dis-Chem or your local Health Shop
  • 1 Tbsp Honey
  • A Handful of rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp Nut Butter *Try Dis-Chem your local Health Shop. Spar now sells 100% peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp double thick plain yogurt
  • 1 Cup rice or almond milk *Try Woolworths, Dis-Chem, Spar or any local health store

METHOD

Blend all ingredients together and voila your smoothie is ready to enjoy!
